Welcome to Franklin County in Central Ohio! It is the most populous county in the state. It is home to the state capital, Columbus, which is the largest city in Ohio and the 14th largest city in the United States. It is neighbored to the south by Pickaway County and to the north by Delaware County.

It was established in 1803 and was named after Benjamin Franklin.
