Delaware City district has 7 schools: Hayes High School, Dempsey Middle School, Carlisle Elementary, Conger Elementary, Schultz Elementary, Smith Elementary and Woodward Elementary.
This school district has a multitude of accolades for orchestra, choir, and band. In addition, the 2017 female basketball and bowling team won their respective championships as well as the male wrestling team. Many of these students have gone on to play for universities, complete with full-ride scholarships.
