According to Realtor.com, they analyzed “32,000 ZIP codes based on the time it takes properties to sell and how frequently homes are viewed in each ZIP Code.”

This year, homes in the hottest markets were sold in an average of 21 days. To compare, the average for the rest of the U.S. is about 70 days. Realtor.com users viewed homes in the hottest markets four times more than users in the rest of the U.S.

These hot housing markets stand out as suburbs that are relatively affordable and have great amenities. These markets also include large shares of older millennials, high millennial home ownership rates, strong job markets, and high salaries.
