In the U.S., Memorial Day is a holiday to honor our heroes, the men and women who gave their lives for our nation. Simultaneously, the long Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer.

Memorial Day Events In Central Ohio
Westerville Field Of Heroes
🗓When: May 27-30
📍Where: Cleveland Ave. Westerville, Ohio – Across from the Westerville Community Center
⭐What: Visual display of 3,000+ American flags, events all weekend, and flags that can be purchased to honor a hero. The field will also be illuminated at night from the 27th-30th.
National Veterans Memorial Museum Memorial Day Events
🗓When: May 28-30
📍Where: 300 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215
⭐What: Free admission and a series of events and exhibitions including a Virtual Run, Walk, Ruck, and Roll, “The Eyes of Freedom” exhibition, USAA Poppy Exhibit, Veterans Jiu-Jitsu Seminar, Rooftop CrossFit Hero Workout, National Ride for Freedom, Gold Star Family Candlelight Vigil, and a Memorial Day Ceremony.
Dublin OH Memorial Day Parade & Observance
🗓When: May 30, 11 am-noon
📍Where: Procession starting at Riverside Crossing Park and ending at Dublin Cemetery
⭐What: procession, wreath ceremony, complimentary community picnic lunch at Monterey Park, free parking at Dublin Community Church.
Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony in Powell, OH
🗓When: May 30, 10 am – 12:30 pm
📍Where: The parade will begin on Grace Dr. and go west. The ceremony will be at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial in Village Green Park.
Worthington Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
🗓When: May 30 at 10 am
📍Where: The parade starts at the American Legion Post and ends at the Circle of Honor in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Memorial Day Market in Sunbury, Ohio
🗓When: May 30, 8 am – 4 pm
📍Where: Sunbury Village Square
⭐What: This is a fundraiser to support Big Walnut’s Music & Band programs. There will be craft and food vendors, bounce houses, a card design area, music, and more.
Rodgers Garage Memorial Day Car Meet
